Arfa Firoz Jack, a journalist from Pakistan, tweeted that it is absolutely wrong that the people of Pakistan are criticizing India that it wants to lose the match against Sri Lanka, due to which the Pakistan team will be out of the Asia Cup. The Indian team also wants to win the match like other teams.
India now has to play its last match in Super-4 against Bangladesh.
After reaching the final of Asia Cup 2023, India is yet to play one match in Super-4 which they will have against Bangladesh on September 15. This match may see the return of Shreyas Iyer in the playing 11 of the Indian team, who could not play the match against Pakistan and Sri Lanka due to being unfit.
